The Hollywood Sign
Originally reading “HOLLYWOODLAND” in the 1920s, this iconic sign has become a legendary landmark in the Los Angeles area. Its 45-foot high white letters face south and are viewable across the much of the San Fernando Valley. The sign has become an international metaphor for the celebrity lifestyle and could possibly be the most recognizable sign in the world.
